The League’s Center for Animal Protection is committed to investigating crimes against animals and protecting animals from neglect and abuse. We work closely with animal control departments throughout the state and log thousands of miles each year investigating animal abuse and neglect. We receive no state or federal funding and operate as a full-time Humane Animal Law Enforcement Agency at no cost to Massachusetts taxpayers.
We encourage members of the public and other agencies to contact us if they suspect that animals are being cruelly treated, or are in imminent danger of abuse or neglect. Our phone lines are monitored seven days a week, including holidays.
