Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 Update: With the Blizzard of 2013 thankfully now behind us, we are pleased to report that all of our shelter animals, staff and facilities are safe and secure. We would especially like to recognize our employees for their above-and-beyond contributions, including working around the clock throughout the weekend to care for our animals, for ensuring that our building was prepared and accessible during the storm, and for coordinating the transport of animals from our Brewster facility during a power outage on Saturday. We are happy to report that the League’s Boston, Brewster and Dedham branches have now returned to normal hours of operation.
