Both of Our Longtime Pairs Found a Home this Week

We love happy endings here at the League, and this past Thursday was truly a joyous day! Two of our beloved, longtime pairs found their forever homes on the same day. As you can imagine, our staff and volunteers were beyond thrilled.

Chloe (R) and Clyde (L)-all packed and ready to go, saying goodbye to Hannah.

Canine companions Chloe and Clyde have been married for five years, and were surrendered to us due to the tough economic times. This husband and wife pair had been at the Animal Rescue League since July, but we knew that we couldn’t separate them, no matter what. They sleep intertwined and love to play together. Finally, after months of waiting they went to their forever home. We are so thankful that they were able to find a loving home together.

Jordan and Barkley’s new family.

Shortly after Chloe and Clyde’s adoption a family came in adopt Jordan and Barkley. This extremely handsome and very bonded, male feline pair were somewhat shy and after a little while we moved them upstairs to one of our offices, where they could have a little more room. These fellas had been with us for five months, but we knew that they would eventually find the home that they deserve-a home that would want them both, and this past week, they did.

Good luck to Chloe & Clyde and Jordan & Barkley! We’ll miss you!
